Every success story begins with bold vision and grit. Jamie Brown entered the restaurant world with no formal background—and co-founded one of Charlotte’s most celebrated hospitality groups. Her leadership and creativity have propelled the Tonidandel-Brown Restaurant Group to national recognition, including an upcoming PBS feature Fork & Hammer.

Diana Rowe is Founder & Coach at Sage City Coach. People spark her curiosity, and she loves connecting the pieces of who they are: personal values, bold ambitions, defining qualities, habitual behaviors, and underlying potential. Diana pairs over 15 years of corporate leadership experience with passion for life and leadership coaching.
Diana created the Sage City Dinner Series to craft experiences that satisfy the heartfelt conversations we all crave. In a fast-paced world occupied with busy schedules, high-pressure careers, and competing priorities, it’s not uncommon to feel like something is missing. Owner, Tonidandel-Brown Restaurant Group
Jamie Brown is the owner of the Tonidandel-Brown Restaurant Group along with her husband Jeff Tonidandel. The couple currently owns and operates six of Charlotte, North Carolina’s most celebrated dining spots, including Ever Andalo, Growlers Pourhouse, Haberdish, Leluia Hall, Reigning Doughnuts and Supperland (Top 10 Best New Restaurant in America in 2022 by Bon Appétit).
The Tonidandel-Brown Restaurant Group has a strong focus on adaptive re-use projects for their hospitality concepts, along with creating unique hand crafted touches for the dining environment, designed and constructed by their team. Known for developing a culture of love and growth, their independent restaurant business has grown more than 25% a year for the last 15 years. With more restaurant concepts on the way, their business growth story, approach to creating restaurants and development of a culinary team, will be featured in the PBS series, Fork & Hammer. Jamie and Jeff have three children, Isabella, Eli and Isaac.
